Wednesday June 11th we welcome three of our favorite local leaders with another beautiful lineup for you!

This week’s workshop at 7pm will be Body Temple Dance: Rainbow Body Activation led by Sarah Rayne (). Sarah Rayne is a q***r witch, a healing artist, and a holder of sacred space. Body Temple Dance is a somatic and spiritual movement language that combines dance, therapeutic somatic movement, mystical teachings, energetic awareness, and modern trauma healing technology. For this special pride month session, we will be celebrating our fabulous selves and activating pride in our unique beings. The dance will end with a rainbow body activation meditation. All humans, identities, & allies welcome — q***r fam to the front! 🌈

K.MAITRI has been tending to the good earth at Fernhill Ecstatic Dance for a few years now, and continues to delight in bringing depth, beauty, and bass into her journeys made to move the body and bouy the soul. This week is a full moon in Sagittarius and the beginning of summer, so expect some heat from the tropics with maybe just a K-I-S-S of ratchet. 😜

We will close the evening with a gorgeous sound healing held by Jen Gens (). Jen is a Soul Purpose Clarity Coach and Ceremonialist who guides heart-centered creatives to align with their authentic truth. Following a life-threatening accident in 2016 that transformed her approach to healing, Jen integrates over a decade of experience as a Coach, Yoga Teacher, and Psychologist. She is also a Spiritual Vocalist, Channeler and Breathwork practitioner. Through sacred ceremonies that combine Coaching, Breathwork, and Sound Healing, she creates powerful spaces for deep listening and mind-body-soul reconnection.

Today, in 2016 I was in a traumatic Mt Biking incident. I broke 7 vertebrae (including my neck), 5 ribs, my clavicle, and hit my head so hard I got a TBI.

The break in my neck was millimeters from my spinal cord.

The doctors said I was lucky to be walking. . . And I’m lucky to be alive.

At the time I had just finished my post-Bach in Psychology… and was pre-med studying to be a doctor.

Truth is, I was chasing a “dream” because I constantly felt like I wasn’t “good enough”. .

The healing process was super intense and extensive (and I’m still healing to this day), but I am so grateful for this initiation.

It was painful: yet the pain taught me how to truly LISTEN… to calm my mind and how to really learn and cultivate a relationship with my body IRL (not from a text book).

It increased my HSP (High Sensory Perception) in fact, and taught me more about meditation than any guru could ever teach me.

It taught me how to ask for AND receive support; how to say “No” AND have necessary boundaries. . .

It taught me how to truly LOVE my MIND ... and my BODY… which is “HOME” to my SOUL (for now).

It continues to show me how resilient I am~
that I more than “good enough”~
And how precious Life is~

This intuition taught me to TRUST in God’s Process.

Now I understand that Lucky means:

Living
Under
Cosmic
Knowledge
YAS!

Know that your greatest challenges are your deepest initiations.

🧜‍♀️I AM a mermaid.

Breathing underwater makes me so grateful for this technology that we have.

To take in the Mama Medicine of the Ocean’s Womb, is truly a gift.

It allows for such a perspective shift.

To think about what a turtle or fish goes through in a day compared to my own.

To feel the ocean current pushing me along.. sometimes quite strong; remembering to always respect Mama Ocean.

To see a shark and remember, I am as big as it is (hopefully!). . And how in scuba it’s so important to remain calm.

What will tomorrow bring?! I wonder 😊
