In FUNctional Movement for Aging Classes, we move.
We use our muscles from largest to smallest.
We rotate our shoulders, our arms, our hips, our legs, our ankles.
We shake our muscles to help them relax.
We balance, with support, on our toes, on one leg, raising one leg while sitting on a physioball.
We build and stretch muscles that help us move, bend, work and play.
We are moving our bodies to slow down our aging process.
It works. It feels good. It’s empowering. It’s fun.
Through movement we can improve our lives.
These are live, interactive classes on Zoom. We use physio balls, yoga mats and exercise bands.
