It's amazing, over the last decade, the research around essential oils has grown massively, and even medical professionals are starting to pay closer attention, especially when oils are pure, consistent, and sourced properly.
I recently came across a study published on ScienceDirect that caught my attention. After 30 days of wearing rose essential oil, participants showed an increase in grey matter in the brain.
Now that got me curious… because grey matter is linked to things like memory, learning, emotional regulation, focus, and overall brain health. An increase in grey matter is associated with better brain resilience and potential neuro-protective effects as we age.
And honestly, at 73, I’m always happy to hear about anything that supports more grey matter 😂
Beyond the science, Rose is one of my favourites for emotional support, mood, skin, and immunity, and it also makes a beautiful natural personal fragrance.
How I love to use it:
I apply Rose Touch along the sides of my neck, just under my ears, and gently along my throat.
