Yesterday I defended my dissertation and passed! Thank you you to everyone that showed up!! I don’t think I’ve ever cried so hard in public.

3 years ago, I sold everything and moved to Florida, because I’d always dreamed of getting a PhD. This has been an incredibly hard journey, but I am so thankful. I have experienced God’s goodness and favor through this entire process.

I received a fully funded fellowhship, and with PSLF have no student loan debt. Today I order my cap and gown!!!!!

Today is Matthew McKay first day of his Doctor of Chiropractor Program!!

It is also my first day of taking my Comprehensive Exam. I have two weeks to answer 5 sections of course materials totaling approximately 100 pages. When passed I’ll be a Doctoral Candidate. Pray for us. Send kind and encouraging thoughts. All the things

Last bit of news, Matthew’s program is in Houston; so the McKays are relocating!! I’ll be completing school, but then I’ll be back in my home state
