Is painful seggs normal?

NOPE!

It is common, unfortunately. But it is not normal.

Many women experience painful seggs, from mild discomfort to severe pain. This is still a taboo topic that many are embarrassed or ashamed to discuss.

But if you are experiencing discomfort and/or pain during or after seggs, know that you are not alone and there are things you can try to help alleviate that pain.

Pelvic floor physical therapy has been shown to help women decrease or eliminate the amount of pain they feel during seggs, thereby helping it become a pleasurable activity once again.

It does this by increasing blood flow in the pelvic floor, as well as helping the pelvic muscles to stretch, strengthen, and relax.

Sillx Society CBD Pelvic Serum is a wonderful complement to pelvic floor physical therapy, as CBD helps to relax muscles and improve blood flow as well. Our serum is also a great lubricant, further helping to alleviate painful in*******se.

Prostatitis is a condition involving swelling and inflammation of the prostate gland, which is the walnut-sized gland that sits below the bladder in men.

Symptoms include:
- pelvic pain
- painful urination
- problems with urination
- pain in the perineum
- painful ej*culation
- pain in the lower abdomen, g*nitals, an*s, groin, lower back

Prostatitis can affect men of all ages, but it is most commonly seen in those under 50.

While prostatitis is commonly caused by bacterial infection, it can also have other causes. For many, the cause cannot be identified. If prostatitis is bacterial in nature, it can usually be treated with antibiotics.

For those with non-bacterial prostatitis, pelvic floor physical therapy has been shown to be beneficial.

L*brication is an essential component for great s*x. This statement needs no explanation. However, not all v*ginas create enough l*brication naturally.

The good news is that there are many “personal l*bricant” options on the market including water–based, silicone-based, glycerin-based, and many others. Because every v*gina is different, some women have issues with some and not others.

For example, preservatives added to water-based l*bricants have an impact on your body’s pH and osmolality. Silicone-based l***s are difficult to wash off skin and may stain sheets (FYI: they also damage silicone s*x toys).

Glycerin has sugar in it and bacteria and fungi feed on this sugar and put you at risk of a yeast infection.

There’s a better option. In addition to the possible benefits to your pelvic floor, Silkx Society™ is a fantastic alternative to these products.

Did you know that prolonged sitting has an impact on your pelvic floor?

If you have a desk job, chances are you are sitting for the majority of your day.

Sitting for long periods can cause stagnation in the pelvic floor, resulting in decreased blood flow to that area (your muscles might feel "crunchy" during pelvic PT internal work). It can also cause your pelvic floor muscles to tighten up and weaken.

If you sit for several hours a day, here's some tips to help lessen the impact to your pelvic floor:

- Stand up and move around every 30 minutes.
- Do stretches that benefit the pelvic floor a few times a week (at least).
- If you are able, get a standing desk and balance the time you sit and stand.
- Use a CBD lubricant like Silkx Society Pelvic Serum
to help relax tight pelvic muscles.

Did you know there are different kinds of CBD products?

Full-spectrum CBD has all the cannabinoids, terpenes, vitamins, etc. contained in the h**p plant. This includes less than 0.3% THC, which is the legal limit for THC in CBD products.

Broad-spectrum CBD is similar to full-spectrum CBD, but it does not contain THC.

CBD isolates ONLY contain CBD.

Silkx Society Pelvic Serum contains full-spectrum CBD to help relax your pelvic muscles. Tight pelvic floor muscles can cause painful in*******se, pelvic pain, problems urinating, problems with bowel movements, and more.

Continuing our series answering our most frequently asked questions!

What is the difference between ma*****na and h**p?

Ma*****na and h**p are different names for the cannabis plant.

Ma*****na is cannabis that contains more than 0.3% THC. The amount of THC in a ma*****na plant can vary, with some strains being bred to have more THC than others.

H**p refers to cannabis that contains less than 0.3% THC. This means that h**p should not make a person high, because the amount of THC is so low.

Silkx Society Pelvic Serum contains full-spectrum h**p-derived CBD to help relax the muscles of the pelvic floor.

What is a cannabinoid?

We get asked this question A LOT.

The terms cannabinoid, CBD, THC, h**p, cannabis, and ma*****na are often misrepresented as all being the same thing, so over the next few weeks, we'll be clearing up some confusion.

Put simply, cannabinoids are substances found in the cannabis plant.

Two cannabinoids you are likely familiar with are CBD and THC.

There are around 100 known cannabinoids in the cannabis plant.

Do you know of any other cannabinoids? Let us know in the comments!
