Hello,

Moosomin Health is striving to improve the daycare and HeadStart services. This includes:

More staff to maintain a full childcare capacity and fewer closed days due to short staffing. We can accept 13 kids at the daycare, 10 at HeadStart, and (limted) home visits.

We now offer both central based and home based headstart options. Central based is when the child is picked up by the shuttle, attends for the day, and is dropped off after 3pm.

The home based option is where HeadStart offers home visitors. These ECE workers will come to the home and work with both the child and parent in the comfort of their own home.

Finally, we will post for a parent committee. This committee will be involved in future headstart and daycare matters.

Any Moosomin medicine pickers that are wanting a gig next week from Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10am till 12pm, call 306 386 2223 and sign up. We may have an upcoming contract. If you have stories as well, that would be a plus.

CPR/First Aid training begins Aug 21 and 22nd from 9am till 430pm both days. If you are looking to renew or obtain your training, sign up at 306 386 2223. If you applied for an upcoming health position, please have up to date training.

Conlee is now available to help assiat families tale their dog to the Vet. Please call the front desk to arrange a time with him.

Today is the last Elders meal. It will be done at 12. Please call if you want it delivered. The Meals on Wheels and Good Food box programs will be halted until we find a departmental assistant to continue the programming.

Today is Wellbriety. It will be held at the kitchen. 12 till 130pm

We have the STBBI nurses at the clinic for testing till 2pm. Free gift card.
