Hello wondering if any of our supporters or Coalition members will be at the PDE conference starting tomorrow I'm arriving this evening. If you plan on attending please be sure to check out the Disability Equality in Education booth number 15 and the disability inclusive curriculum session that PATTAn will be hosting on Thursday afternoon. We are wondering if any of you fine folks that support disability inclusive curriculum will be attending the PDE conference in Hershey coming up February 5th. Lisa and Sharon from Disability Equality in Education and the co-founders of disability inclusive curriculum will be there. We'd love to meet up with you and say hello please reply in the comments.

Sharing ofr our friends at the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council (PADDC)

Don't forget! We need your help. Every five years, the Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council (PADDC) is required to create a State Plan to guide its work. Creating the plan involves gathering information about the current barriers and concerns faced by individuals with developmental disabilities and their families in Pennsylvania. One way we collect information is by seeking input from Pennsylvania residents with developmental disabilities, their families and other involved parties. We have created a survey for this purpose. The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete. We will use the information from your response to help develop our next state plan. If you have questions or need help completing the survey, please reach out by email to the Council at: ra-pwpaddc@pa.gov or you can call the Council at 717-787-6057 or 1-877-685-4452. It was last year, around this time, that I learned of Judy Heumann’s passing. I just never envisioned a world without Judy. She seemed invincible. I know now that it was her invincible spirit of never giving up that I saw in her. It is with this invincible spirit that I wrote my latest message, which share with you in Judy’s honor.
