Hi Friends,

My favorite month of the year has arrived— hello, May! It felt like the perfect time to check in since it’s been awhile.

In my last WOTR newsletter (which was also awhile ago!), I mentioned that I was stepping into a project that would require much of my time and trust. It’s been unfolding in a timely way, and while there is still more to do, I wanted to pause and share a little joy.

There is something beautiful about allowing things to unfold in their own right moments- just like the trees and flowers gently remind us this time of year.

Change is good. It doesn’t mean it’s easy. New happenings on the horizon. I’m adjusting to new spaces and new projects. Listening to my inner whispers and staying patient and present as possible. 💙 -beginnings

Retreats are such a powerful and magical well-needed pause to refine and reveal what we desire most in life. We can’t do these things without the support of other women who see our gifts and strengths, and nudge us to make it happen! We do hard things, and we take risks, and that’s how we discover and manifest what we want most in our lives. Planning is soon underway for spring and fall 2025 WOTR retreats!

I imagine Romeo loves his New Mexico life. I wander if he could talk, how he would describe his experience here so far. This guy has been my side leading me on my path. Aren’t we forever grateful for our animals? They journey with us, wherever we go, they go. Can you imagine, if they could talk what they would say about their owners? 🤭😂🐕‍🦺

What makes you shine from the inside out? It’s been my primary focus recently to discover where our stuck places hold us back from fully showing up. What story needs to come out that is overshadowed by avoidance or too difficult to resurface? Our stories that we choose to keep quiet is the very thing that keeps us stuck. Visibility is frightening for so many women therefore we stay invisible — and that is self torture. We yearn to change lives, but we are terrified of stepping into the world exposing our vulnerabilities which is how we make the biggest impact. What makes us shine from the inside out is sharing our story. I encourage you to spend time writing your story and then asked a friend or two if you can share it with them. The more we own our stories and the hidden parts, the more unfolding that happens in own lives while impacting others. I believe it’s our true purpose while we are here on this earth. We transform our relationship to our voice and release the deepest whispers of our soul. On September 2,3,4 I will be holding three workshops in Abiquiu, New Mexico. Each day we restore with restful yoga and we reflect through writing and story telling. Come spend the day with courageous women! Come to be heard and seen. Going to a festival with a friend is one of absolute favorite things to do! I’m totally inspired now! I’ve been missing creativity in my life. What do you yearn to create? What’s the most unexpected thing that comes up? The unexpected yearnings is the missing fulfillment in our lives. I might expect to create in my garden, but what if I decided to play with learning the harmonica? Hmm… how would that cultivate an even more inspired garden? Let’s keep stretching ourselves beyond the expected! 🌻🦋🌻

What does Self-Love mean to you? I’m curious, do you look at your inner landscape before you look outside? Can you see the importance of checking in with yourself to be sure you are present with YOU before extending yourself to others? Wouldn’t it be more powerful for others to receive what we offer if we ourselves are calm and collected in own lives?
