Since long-term sun exposure ups the risk of cataracts later in life, your toddler needs a good pair of sunglasses now to protect those precious peepers. Meaning he (and everyone else) should wear sunglasses as often as possible when outdoors between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., when the sun is strongest.
