What is the exact connection between lymph and fat metabolism? I hope this information can help you!
Fat transport
The lymphatic system is closely linked to the absorption of fat during digestion. The fats absorbed in the small intestine are first converted into chylomicrons, which are transported through the lymphatic system to the bloodstream and then distributed to different parts of the body for storage or consumption. Chylomicrons contain large amounts of fat-soluble substances that support the transportation of dietary fat.
Lymphedema and fat
Lymphedema is a swelling caused by the accumulation of lymphatic fluid, typically in the extremities, especially the lower extremities. Persistent accumulation of lymphatic fluid can lead to excessive accumulation of fat and connective tissue, resulting in so-called lymphatic fat deposition (lipedema). This is a condition caused by a dysfunction of the lymphatic system and manifests as fat accumulation and edema in the lower extremities. This fat can be particularly stubborn and difficult to get rid of through common weight loss methods.
The role of fat in the lymphatic system
Fat is not only transported through the lymphatic system, but also affects the function of the lymphatic system to some extent. Excess fat, especially around the abdomen and lower extremities, can increase the strain on lymphatic vessels, inhibiting lymphatic fluid drainage and exacerbating edema and other lymphatic system problems.
The cleansing role of the lymphatic system
The lymphatic system is also responsible for removing metabolic waste products from the body, including waste products from fat cells. If the lymphatic system is not functioning properly, the waste products cannot be removed effectively, increasing the load on fat and other cells. This in turn can lead to weight gain and fat accumulation.
The immune system and fat
The lymphatic system plays an important role in the immune response by monitoring and removing harmful substances from the body. Adipose tissue itself has an immune function. Obesity often leads to changes in the immune system, and the health of the lymphatic system is essential for maintaining normal immune function.

“It's your own fault, you're not disciplined enough” - this is something people with obesity hear constantly. But this notion has long since been scientifically disproved. For decades, the key to fighting obesity has been sought in metabolism, through diets, calorie counting, exercise and countless “tricks” to curb our innate cravings for anything that makes us fat.
Today, we know that the key lies in the brain. And that's where the weight loss shot works. It directly affects the hormones in the reward system and should help change the brain's mindset. The global demand for the syringe is huge and the billions of dollars in profits for manufacturers are staggering. But the shot only works if you use it permanently - and as with all drugs, there are side effects.
