Fourth season Māmā ✨
Nourishing those who nurture

Honouring the transitions of a new timeline for your whakapapa, this is the most delicate precious time of nurture.

A safe space where all is welcome for you to completely surrender, release, and melt into a safe cocoon of aroha.

Your ritual will begin welcoming you with a māmā moon turmeric milk/or warming herbal tī. Sitting in council with your body & wairua as we listen to the whispers of your womb wisdom, connecting over shared kōrero with your Māmāhood journey, your birthing stories, any stored emotions that you are currently holding, Currently meeting you where you are.

Wrapping your body in a warming korowai, we will soak your wae wae/feet in our infused herbal hand harvested salt, rongoā copper bowl.

Your room will be lit only my the flickers of candles so you can completely unwind and even snooze to the sounds of your choice of oro sound healing music.

A healing native foot and calf scrub, warm compresses and a relaxing foot miri to soothe tired and aching feet.

Gently transitioning to the massage table as we cover and wrap your wharetangata womb in native māori herbs, infused oils in warming natural fibres, laying hot kōhatu stones on top to stimulate healing to your internal organs, releasing hormones, getting fluids moving, boosting your immune system, toning your muscles and tissues of your skin.

Covering your eyes with a gentle tataramoa lavender cloth you will receive a deeply relaxing neck, face, shoulder, scalp, hand massage with our curated native hand blended oils and a herbal flower steam over your face and body

Slowly turning you over massaging your hips, pelvis and spine that will need some tending loving care after giving birth.
Light deep stretching, and realignment may be needed.

To conclude we will have prepared you a native rongoā tara/wharetangata womb steam to help release anything that no longer serves,
Aiding in healing energetic debris that can be left over after birth.

You are welcome to take all the space for you, a warming tī and nourishing Māmā snack to ground back to your home body, there is a resting space for you to sit and read or even take a little mama nap before you return home.

A blissful deeply relaxing journey in honour of the Māmā and her growing pēpi in her most tapu season

On arrival we will prepare a rongoā herbal tī or fresh juice/smoothie to sit and have an in depth kōrero with you and your pēpi.

This is a vital part of our tikanga process acknowledging bub and their needs while in your womb, and listening to the gentle whispers of your growing body.

To begin we will get you snuggly and comfy with a delicious magnesium harvested herbal rongoā foot soak in a deep copper bowl.

A nurturing kawakawa foot & calf scrub to exfoliate and refresh your waewae,
Followed by a relaxing foot mirimiri + warm hot herbal towel embrace (we will avoid certain haemata pressure points unless needing to induce labour)

Gently you will be taken to the tēpu/table, swaddled with cushions, pillows making sure you both are fully comfortable.
A korowai of love wrapped of karakia, waiata, oro sound around your womb, your tinana throughout.
Intuitively guided by you and pēpi to miri/massage your transitioning temple

Focusing on softening, deep relaxation and restoration.
Tending to both your needs in these sacred moments.

Working in harmony we will finish with our Earth & Roots ritual. Infused with the dew of native organic warming oils, a facial steam of fresh flowers, while you receive replenishing touch massage on your face, neck, shoulders, scalp & sacred strands.
Hot herbal towel compresses

Each session is woven specifically for you & bub

We may use Earthing body tools to assist, hot kōhatu stones, different rongoā for certain areas, native flower essences.

To whakanoa/ground back home to your body a nourishing kai aroha platter catered to your needs will be awaiting for you to replenish.

This is a gentle sacred pause for you to take all the space you need Māmā

You will receive a Hapū Māmā & Pēpi kete to celebrate you both, including a Wai Ū breast oil, Mānuka honey lavender pēpi soak & soothing pēpi balm.

Whakahaumanu Restorative Journey 🪶

An intuitive woven healing session attuned to your sacred body’s wisdom.

We will begin our ritual by sitting in council with your body, honouring where you currently are, your wairua & whakapapa toto lines.
Sharing kōrero with a cosy mug of warm rongoā tī & native herbal supports crafted for your tinana.

You will be taken to our room lit by candlelight Grounding your waewae/feet into our copper bowl infused with pounamu, native flowers + oils, hand harvested sea salts & massaged with our Kawakawa scrub.

Gently we will move onto the tēpu into a deep rhythmic nurturing healing touch full body mirimiri massage.

An opportunity of deep surrender being held and supported with infused native herbal oils, heated ancestral kōhatu/stones from the sands of our ancestral lands of Mahia.
Allowing their healing mauri to work with you.

Inviting your mind, body & spirit to receive the medicinal healing energy of kawakawa as we warmly poultice your karu/eyes, whilst gently steaming your face and body with native kūmarahou flowers.
Cloaking and wrapping your tinana in warm herbal towel compresses.

To whakanoa and ground your body back home a rongoā tī & healthy snack will be prepared for you to simply nourish.

This is only but a glimpse into what this session may hold,
Each ritual is uniquely crafted with intention and karakia using different earthing tools, oro sound vibrations, rongoā plant medicine, takutaku incantations

Allowing it to be woven as we move through our time together.

In Bloom

Our hearts are billowing with love received from these beautiful flowers who entered our garden last weekend 🌸

A transient space that allowed our kōhine to share stories through their eyes of wisdom

We painted rich colours of our inner palettes,
foraged in the māra to weave an altar, played with kokowai, anointed each other with native plant medicine, braided our sacred strands, crafted love affirmations for each other, sung our taonga pūoro, connecting through our haa and slow movement.

Over the short few hours, we observed these kōhine TRANSFORM
Oh the transformation
Some who were very shy to be seen, to sharing their own fears, feelings, schooling, bullying, love for their families, pets, Everything and anything was welcome with loving ears and nurturing hearts

For our Kaumātua over the age of 65 our monthly koha kaupapa is to ensure all our elders are looked after and receive the body treatments needed.

We value trades and exchanges and are open to all your beautiful heart offerings of koha ~ we tend to receive baked goods, chutneys, veges, ika etc.

Weaving a tapestry of aroha, belonging and reverence for self awareness through the sacred rites of Womanhood

We will guide the girls through the gates of their heart laying on Papatūānuku through a slow sound and breath work journey using taonga pūoro & anointing native plant medicines

Gently emerging
leading us into weaving an altar from the Earth together, & sharing whakapapa

Allowing space for our hands to intentionally create, paint, craft, play

Flowing into writing a self love letter & weaving your own sacred plant medicine vial to take home.
