Food for thought: Eating a plant based diet turns on over 300 genes that fight illness and diseases. Eating meat and dairy turn off those genes, leaving the body at risk for heart disease, diabetes, cancer, obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, Crohn’s disease, chronic migraines, lupus, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, etc. Living a plant based lifestyle isn’t extreme. Having to take multiple medications per day for decades is extreme.
