Welcome to my page, I'm Dianna :)

- Naturopath- degree qualified
- Biology of Trauma Practitioner: Mastery Level Certified
- Somatic Healing Practitioner
- Certified Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) Practitioner. I support people to move through that feeling of something isn’t quite right, the inner chaos, confusion about what’s wrong, why and what to do; hormonal imbalances, tiredness, overwhelm,

stress and reactivity; to seek out the causes and support them to feel whole, healthy and calm. I work with people who are tired, burnt out, overwhelmed, stressed, have hormone imbalances, PMS, IBS, post-natal depletion and all the ways in which their body is telling them something is not right. "Most psychologists treat the mind as disembodied, a phenomenon with little or no connection to the physical body. But the body and mind are not separate, and we cannot treat one without the other.”

Dr. Candace Pert

Rose and Calendula hydrosol 🌹🏡

I started 2026 making beautiful herbal products in my kitchen 🩷

A hydrosol harnesses the aromatic oils from the plants and distills them into the water, which becomes a beautiful mist to calm and soothe the skin and smells amazing πŸ’¦

My children love a gentle spray of hydrosol before they go to sleep, feeling each drop as it settles on their skin.

I also support my clients to bring plant medicine into their lives in a practical and nourishing way. 🌿 This looks different for each person and is individualised depending on what you are curious about and where you might need some support in your body, mind and lifestyle.

May your 2026 be just what you need ✨️

Two years in, and I've just completed Somatic Experiencing Intermediate level training πŸŽ‰

The first year was about setting up the foundations. Intermediate level is focused on the different categories of trauma.

Ending with collective trauma, when a group of people, society, or community go through trauma that is not resolved. This trauma then becomes woven into the fabric of the culture. It becomes subconscious and passed on through generations.

This has been a big week. The depths I have been touched have moved me. I've seen more. I've felt more. And finally, I am landing. 🀯 😌

✨️ Somatic Experiencing is body-oriented trauma healing. ✨️

Happy Sunny Friday 🌞

This is a bundle of joy, also known as St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) ☺️

St. John's Wort is prolific in Canberra. I love that we are surrounded by healing plants, whether we know it or not.

St. John's Wort is known for it's effects on certain types of depression* and also topical applications for minor wounds.

I will show you what I made with this bundle of joy soon 🌼🌿

*always seek advice of your qualified health practitioner before taking St. John's Wort, as it's not right for everyone and can also interact with certain medications

For as long as I can remember I've loved a road trip and the country landscapes. I've taken many an Australian road trip and even a trip through the desert in America πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Why do I like the desert, the countryside, the beach, the open expanses of seemingly nothingness?

I can feel myself. The distractions and visual pollution of cities and busy roads are gone. It's complete openness of nature, spirit and connection with our source.

Beyond thought, beyond the things of everyday life, here I am and always was.

What makes you feel more like you?

A sunny afternoon reading outside in the shade surrounded by countless trees and a few puffs of clouds in a blue sky πŸ’™

This is my current daily reading. To me healing is not about changing habits and taking supplements and advice from your health practitioners.

We adapt to our environments as we are born into this world as a matter of survival. When our pure and innocent core needs are not met as a small child, we need to adapt, and this can mean closing off parts of the self, shutting down our needs, guarding our hearts, feeling it's not safe to trust, to connect with other people, to even know what we truly want and need. And we may then bring these adaptations into adulthood.

When we were once children these adaptations served us to cope with our environments. As an adult, there can be a relearning of what life is actually like now. A tending to the deeper, most original parts of ourselves. A new relationship with oneself.

To be with people in this space is truly life changing and meaningful work πŸ’—

Somatic Experiencing (SE), I've just completed a week of intensive training at Intermediate level.

This level is all about applying SE to specific categories of trauma. It was a big week.

A few key elements I can share with you:

πŸ’› There are usually defensive and protective responses that didn't get to happen, and the body wants to do them. These incomplete responses remain stuck in the nervous system (NS) and body, and with SE we can watch for them and slowly and safely support the body to do what it wanted to do but couldn't at the time.

πŸ’› The nervous system activates.. and it can deactivate. SE gently guides the NS through these cycles to process trauma in a manageable way, working within the body's capacity.

πŸ’› SE does not support re-enactment of trauma, as this reinforces the pattern. We don't go back and tell the story of what happened in order. We work with a bit at a time.

πŸ’› A lot of repair can happen through relationship. Being seen and with a caring other is often a missing piece when trauma happens.

This week has changed me a little bit more, and I am deeply grateful to be learning this work and bringing it into my sessions with clients πŸ’—

Happy Sunny Sunday Morning 🌞
This morning I made up a blend of herbal tea for myself- a custom formula with intention. I will take this tea every morning and evening to provide consistent natural support to my body.

I happily find my flow when hand-blending herbs, with mindful awareness my body and mind settle into the moment, and when I'm done I have a product that will continue to support me every time I make a cup of tea with it.

With my Soul Herbal Tea range, my heart goes into these tea blends to offer your body support and your mind and soul a place to come home to yourself.

With love on this Sunny Sunday 🌞 πŸ’›
