Somatic is basically a fancy word that means "of the body."

Soma in Greek means "body."

Somatic approaches focus on how physical experiences and body awareness can influence mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

Connecting to the body using somatic exercises helps us to tune in and become aware of how we feel and where we are holding on to any tension.

These gentle exercises and touch help calm our central nervous system and tone our vagus nerve.

This helps to create safety in our body, allowing it to release any energy or emotions that it doesn't need to be holding on to.

We have had a such a beautiful day today Christmas fair. Thanks for having us. We enjoyed meeting loads of new people, talking about our services and we offer together and separate and of course spending money 🤣. Then our event tonight aswell! Very relaxing and calm 🧘‍♀️ perfect for a Sunday. You's definitely went into your own wee world 🌎. Thank you to all that came ♥️

We are returning to the Luna centre, East Kilbride!! 🙌🙌.

Thank you for all the positive feedback from our first session❤️we listened and we've made a couple of changes.

We've now got even longer with you beautiful souls! We want to make your experience as relaxing as possible, we understand and know that people are going through a tough and stressful time. We want to take this time to connect. So come along and grab a cuppa and biscuit 😊 We'll have time to chat and then relax into a hypnosis and sound experience.

Good morning, Happy Saturday!

Here are 3 mental health habits you should be doing daily to ensure you feel your best!

❣️Deep breathing

A simple and effective way to reduce stress and anxiety.

When you take deep breaths, you activate your body’s relaxation response, which helps to calm your mind and body.

❣️Daily movement is another important habit for maintaining good mental health.

Exercise releases endorphins, which are natural chemicals that help to boost your mood and reduce stress.

You don’t need to do anything too strenuous - even a short walk or gentle yoga practice can be beneficial.

The key is to find an activity that you enjoy and that you can do regularly.

❣️Practicing gratitude is a powerful way to shift your focus from negative thoughts to positive ones.

When you take time to appreciate the good things in your life, you cultivate a sense of happiness and contentment.

To practice gratitude, try keeping a gratitude journal where you write down three things you’re grateful for each day.

You can also take a few moments each day to reflect on the things in your life that bring you joy and happiness.

I hope these tips help you feel more centered and grounded in your daily life!

I have a sound bath coming up and would love for you to join 🧘‍♀️ come and immerse yourself in a beautiful harmonic sound experience, using crystal bowls, chimes, tibetan bowls and rainstick.
