BioBran is produced from rice bran. Hemicellulose B, a type of soluble dietary fiber contained in rice bran, is a polysaccharide with a complex structure consisting of arabinose and xylose. As it is, Hemicellulose B exerts no immunostimulatory effects. However, by reacting hemicellulose B with carbohydrate-hydrolyzing enzymes obtained from shiitake mushroom mycelia, it exerts immunomodulatory effects. NKCP, a purified filtrate of Bacillus subtilis var. natto culture is a food-based extract of “natto”, a traditional Japanese food made from fermented soybeans. During the purification process, most of natto’s distinctive odor and vitamin K2 are removed, resulting in an easy-to-eat functional food with a wide range of applications. NKCP contains proteolytic enzymes secreted by Bacillus subtilis var. natto, which balance clotting mechanisms in the blood. In vitro and clinical studies have demonstrated that consistent, long-term intake of NKCP supports normal circulation.
