As (chronic health) patients, whenever possible, we can manage our anxiety, remain calm and ask clear questions of our physicians and medical teams.
Keep the information flowing.
2 questions I like to ask:
- “What are the different treatment options?”
- “What can I do on my own to improve my condition?”
The Nurses and Physicians design the game plan, the patient (and their caregivers/support system) play the game and the team win/lose the game. .
