I would love to be the kind of person who comes up with a recipe, is super organized, tested beforehand, know's the plan and sticks to it but honestly when the mood strikes me I make candles. I don't know what essential oils I will use. I am like a mad scientist mixing smelling, adding, mixing and hoping for the best. I use my intuition and add oils according to what I'm thinking in that moment. It is my creative outlet and I can't do it any other way. When I'm getting ready to post the candle, I research the history and energetics of the oils that I used and that is when I discover the soul of each candle. Sometimes what comes out of the candle is more than I bargained for. Sometimes the candle teaches me things during the research process and I realize I'm left with a little bit of magic in my hand. This unassuming plain little candle is a perfect example of that. She is INSIGHT plain and simple.
