The stability ball wall squat is great for beginners. It can be done as an isometric (static) exercise where you hold the position or as an isotonic (dynamic) exercise where you do repetitions by moving up and down. Do them religiously, we will be pushing parameters with more difficult squats soon!

Longevity in physical activity
Unfortunately we only appreciate the value of injury prevention (pre-hab) once we have been injured. A healthy back starts with good posture and a strong core. And if you smile while doing the exercise you should be able to hold the position longer. Try for at least one minute; if the plank does not add healthy years to your life, the smile definitely will.

Standing calve raise exercises target the gastrocnemius, which is the big calve muscle that you see when wearing those sexy high heels. Seated calve raise exercises which are done with bent knees will focus more on the soleus muscle, that is the superficial muscle underneath your gastrocnemius. You can use any heavy item for your seated calf raise and do only one side at a time with that item. We will start with the first squat exercise soon which will become progressively harder.

Let’s face it; a healthy lifestyle can be expensive. This is what I use to make my low carb pizza base. It is MUCH cheaper compared to other bases. Replace the buttermilk with coconut or regular milk. The base is sticky, but I’m sure you will manage. Eat your heart out 🍕
