                                            Rheumatic chorea, also known as Sydenham's chorea, is a neurological disorder that occurs as a complication of rheumatic fever, an autoimmune response to group A streptococcal infections. It is characterized by involuntary, purposeless movements of the arms, legs, and face, as well as cognitive and behavioral changes.
