What if we recognised there is one ultimate truth?

Is there only one truth or are their many truths? I believe there are many personal truths, but there for sure is one universal, when it comes to embracing life with its fullness (which is a different way to look at it, then living it to the fullest)...

No matter how you put it - we all want to live a long, content, peaceful, fulfilling, creative and loving life. But what if this is not possible due to the fact that our circumstances RIGHT NOW are not all shiny and bright...there are so many struggling, feeling pain, being ill, being homeless, broken inside, feeling lost, disappointed and consequently not in a really good place.

We all carry our own legendary stories, which in a part also constitute our pain-body*, usually pretty much infused with patterns of past, not even recognising it at all. Wake up, start being more conscious, more sensible and a bit less egocentric. As maybe, just maybe, this is the answer...not looking far enough, not understanding well enough, not choosing to be stronger than your circumstances and accept that we came HERE for a reason, no matter how dark the path we walk on might seem AT this ONE POINT. EVERYONE has a reason to live and the ultimate truth to embracing life with its fullness is TO HELP EACH OTHER RECOGNISE IT. Through being present in the meaningful work we do, through moments of joy we spread with as many as we know they need it, through smiles we share with strangers, through so, so many little or not so little acts of service....We ALL must continuously learn how to create more positivity, how to feel more positivity, how to BE more light for others....STARTING at your home, within your families and then walk further, find those who need your push to create a better state of being, step by step...

*the accumulated pain, a negative energy field that occupies your body and mind. In your mind, it makes you judgmental and negative. In your body, it makes you fearful and angry

WISHING YOU to BE a more compassionate version of yourself in this one world, one life we have! Wohooooo, 2020, we are ready!!! 🌟🥳🥂🍾

Ps: As for me, myself and I....I long for a a more peaceful but yet creative year to come...grateful for all the teachings of 2019, but sooooooo ready to swing my faith into 2020 :) :)

What about you, what are your personal wishes?😉😍

Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really counted, who really touched the alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering its a feather bed. (T.McKenna)

Men, yoga practice and sports...
As I have always been into sports my whole life and consider myself to be the one that needs to be active as much as I can be, it still surprises me, how many people still don't understand the concept of "being in touch" with their "HOW" they do sports and have a decent control over their bodies. This is where the concept of YOGA comes in. Many times I get a question from future practioners and just recently when I was asked this same question for one more time - I decided to openly say a few words about it :) The question is "Is yoga a real workout or is it a practice for those spiritual people, who believe they can change their life only by breathing and meditating?"

Yoga is NOT a sport but it is a practice for body and mind WELLNESS, it is the greatest tool for those who do various sports on a regular basis OR they don't do it at all. Why? Yoga is not looking for ACHIEVEMENTS for time, strength, endurance. The goal is psychological and physical strengthening to perform better in everyday life (including in sports and any other activity), on the other hand its goal is relaxation of the human organism, self awareness, growth and development. The main aim is to fully energize the body, to clear the energy channels in order to let the vital energy flow.

Unfortunately many people have lost/are loosing their touch with their body and spirit (sometimes even don't knowing it!), doing "more and more" in all aspects of life, forgetting about how important it is to centre themselves first by being more mindful and know how to take control over the use of their bodies and of course, minds. I completely understand that we are ALL different, some are driven to get accomplishments, to compete, to breathe themselves out with physical workout....and that is perfectly fine! IF! If one fine day they wouldn't feel more stressed, more exhausted and most of all, found out they are on a way to OVERWORK. Physically and mentally. Because this happens, when you don't know the difference between DOING too much BEING too less. This is something that we, yoga teachers are supposed to give out to the people - the best KNOWING HOW to treat your body and your mind to WORK for YOU and not to let the body and mind take CONTROL over YOU. That is why I believe YOGA is a SYSTEM of different approaches to the OVERALL WELLNESS. There is no great PHYSICAL practice without MINDFUL APPROACH to it. Without UNDERSTANDING the USE of BREATHING and CALMING the MIND. You may be a sports professional (as I was once too) or just someone who needs to work on their body strength or flexibility - YOGA will give you an aspect of how to reach your personal potential with UNDERSTANDING that sometimes less is more or more is more with more mindful, less extreme approach to practice and of course, living. Knowing your limits, being more in touch with them, gives you a healthy chance to explore them and break through them. Peace out. :)

Why men should do yoga and which poses are most beneficial for them?

Soooo....the DAY #5 is there to ask yourself how far you took yourself with changing the way you do that ONE little habit. Did you know that daring to show up for yourself, noticing what is holding you back from being less stressed, admitting it and being committed (on a long run) to ever growing process of becoming more patient, compassionate, vulnerable and courageous self...means you are on the most important paths of life? Its the golden coin that buys out all the rests of the coins, remember 😁🌟

Be the MAN IN THE ARENA, don't runaway from change! 😉🤩

Day #4: Sometimes we need to pause everything we do in order to start being what we are. Show up for ourselves only....without all the patterns that social environment encoded in to our wise thought system. We need to distinguish a habit as a clearly designed ritual from a habit that is puzzling our minds and making us feel stressed if we are not living the life through this habit.

Like, for example, you get all stressed out if your kind of OCD syndrom tells you that you need to have your appartment crystal clean every day before going to bed (so eventually became a servant to your own habit😌) 😆😆😆

By now you (with some days in between) should have a clear picture of this - one - mind habit that tricks you into going into same mind patters again and again...It’s time for some talk about the techniques...😉
The only technique that works for me personally is CONSCIOUSLY DIVERTING ATTENTION when I acknowledge I am again trying to operate in my old mind patterns. I stop in time and place at that moment, silence my outer and inner chatter by starting a simple breathing sequence (naturally produced INHALES but longer EXHALES) and divert attention to something very physical and I start to talk about it. Or I have something simple to think like “how will I cook the most delicious risotto”🤓😂 It helps me to brake those mind habits in a sec. So, changing the topics when those same destructive thought patterns that became your habits, arise - can help.

I invite you to try and find one little thing you absolutely love to do and let the thoughts about it replace the ones that usually start to appear when you face the old habit. Write down how it went and how long could you keep the focus on the new thoughts...Practice, practice, practice —> Brake the loop!
🤗✨💭💆‍♀️💛

DAY #3: We all know that what we fight with, gets stronger and what we resist, usually persists, right? 🤔👁🤓
Well, knowing it, for sure takes you one step closer to doing it....but sadly there is still a BIG gap between a thought and an act made through deep understanding. This gap is full of excuses that are almost 💯 % the product of FEAR. Fear of not being accepted for anything less or more than..., not being loved as of... and the list goes on.

Well, that is why I want you to go for a 20 min mindful walk (the first time when you can), go back in time and think it over when have you became more aware of the mind habit that causes you more stress, insecurity or provoke any kind of negative effects in your personal life. What kind od words resonate with you when you are “in the habit”? Who and what do you hear? If you get the answers, say them out loud so you hear them. How does that feel? Strange but good or strange, ridiculous, ashamed? Are you telling yourself that “all is ok”, even if its not? Its your time to be truthful, nobody else matters. Journal it - dont forget to write the answers down in the notes....Stay still and keep moving, you acknowledged a lot...😌💭 💆‍♀️💆‍♂️💫🖤

DAY #2 of SHEDDING WEEK: For 10 min or so in the evening, turn on the air mode on your phone and sit somewhere quietly and think about when was the last time you had a really honest and deep conversation with yourself about how your life is going. Do you focus more on what is missing in your life or on how abundant your life is? How strong is your focus on the good stuff and is there anything you could do to strengthen it when you feel the unconscious (or even conscious :) ) urge to dive into the negativity loop/bad habit loop? Think about it and write it down...keep the notes... 😌

🌟SHEDDING WEEK🌟: So what is the point of it and why? The main point is to GET INTO the SHEDDING process of that ONE, CHOSEN, MIND HABIT that keeps preventing you to perform better (in whatever part of your life that gives you meaning) AND ENCOURAGE others to become more aware of their mind habits and how they can transform them. Why? As speaking to many friends and family members, we ALL share one common goal - TO feel GOOD - more healthy, more loved, less reactive and less stressed. Simple? Well, not so, of course, but there is a way out of a maze...And thats why this is a page for everyone wanting to make some moves to walk through that maze...
Well, I STRONGLY BELIEVE that the SECRET of a more content life lies in a STRONG BOND BETWEEN - CREATING SUSTAINABLE HABITS & FLEXIBLE, GROWTH MINDSET.
And so the shedding week is a week for making this bond stronger! Its a challenge for everyone. Overcoming your personal mind challenge can be done privately (following me this week) or by ( I would love to see you here!! ;) ) sharing some of your challenging moments here. You can join anytime during the week by posting, but just do it everyday...thats the only task.

SO, how do we start?

DAY #1 - Monday: Through the rest of the day, give yourself 15 min and...
1. Mindfully pick ONE personal MIND HABIT that can twist your physical and/or emotional state, causing YOU (and maybe others) stress levels to go UP and disturbs your INNER ZEN. It can be anything from overanalysing particular situations, avoiding talking about something, obsession with having the control over details/cleanliness of the place you live/work, imposter syndrome, etc. (5 min)
2. Write it down on a paper (yes, paper!!) which particular MIND HABIT are you working on to shed off. (5min)
3. Explore this habit intentionally by OBSERVING how you feel when you are "doing" it. And write it down on the paper, again - what are you feeling, experiencing physically. (5min)
4. SHARE a PICTURE of those SHORT NOTES BY POSTING it below in comments or share it with one good friend, if you still feel a bit uncomfortable to share it here😊 Or both 😊

And of course, I will be sharing my own struggles today and then on too
😉
..by mastering our minds, we can master our worlds and if we master our worlds, we can make the world we all live in a more joyful place to live!

Aloha & Namaste, Eva🤙🙏🙋

Blaze like a warm fire

My dear, hello!

My name is Eva and I am the founder and the organiser of classes and events by ATMAPREMA yoga & lifestyle. Well, my grandmother used to say to me when I was younger, that in order to be happy, you have to feel warm, so wear warm clothes, shower under hot water, warm yourself next to the fire,...and happiness will become inevitable :) So simple that as a child, I believed it of course :)

As I grew older, actually most of those suggestions still kind of made me happy. But after a while, I got to a point when her words resonated in a different way and another dimension of warmth as happiness came to life in my understanding. If you blaze like a warm fire it means your inner fire burns fiercely, brightly...and if you embrace the burning process, you can experience more profound happiness, for sure. And this happiness is determined by the way your mind is wired.

Since my youngest days, I have always loved studying, exploring the psychological hacks that prevent you from living as your potential best self (with “best” meaning your authentic best self). On the other hand, my love for adrenaline sports and passion for active life, always led me to live boldly, courageously, believing in my own authenticity. That, of course, doesn't mean sometimes you do not experience great fear, but it means you know how to handle and embrace fear, take fear as your friend, rather than your enemy. And learning this is not easy, it takes one sensible, persistent human :)
