Sad news, but I am sure the Yoga practice on the other side has improved. Rest in peace Tao.

Tao Porchon-Lynch, who was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the “World’s Oldest Yoga Teacher” in 2012, died Friday. She was 101.

Its not just me who isnt bendy :D

When people find out your a yoga teacher they often say ‘oh you must be so bendy’.

And the truth is I’m not really. Being bendy isn’t a goal of mine.
When I started yoga I had no awareness of where my body was in the space and my body is naturally flexible. My journey has been learning to stabilise my joints and create a connection between my mind and body.
Most people don’t need to learn how to put their feet on their head, they need to learn to stand, sit, and do basic things without putting strain on their bodies. Most people need to learn how to self soothe and be kind to themselves, to create a nurturing relationship with their bodies and minds.
It’s not as glamorous and it certainly doesn’t look as good on Instagram or sell as well but it’s so much more worth it.

I am super thrilled to be able to announce that ..... drum roll please! I have found a lovely pool suitable for Aqua Yoga! The first class will be launched in September. It will also include details of pre and post natal classes.
I will reveal the venue and details at the end of this week. We just need to sort out a couple of things...... But I was too excited to keep this to myself!
