Hello! 👋🏻 I am so excited to introduce myself to you in this space. My name is Maren Locke, and I am a medical doctor specialized in Dermatology.👩🏼⚕️ I am the founder of , a medical practice I established to bring personalized care to patients with skin concerns. I am obsessed with all things related to skin health and love educating my patients on these topics.
My goal with this platform is to reach people beyond my exam room🗣. In this trusted space, I will bring you evidence-based information 📚, recommendations, and answers based on years of studying, training, and hands-on experience in the field of Dermatology.
My goal is to empower you with the highest quality information so you can make the most informed decisions for your own skin health💪. I am an avid user of social media in my personal life and believe it’s an incredible way to learn from each other. When consuming information from others on social media, we must know their qualifications and be able to interpret their level of expertise. Transparency is SO important in the world of social media. So here are my qualifications:
Maren Locke, MD: ✅ I obtained my medical doctorate degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine.
Residency-trained in Dermatology: ✅ I completed a Dermatology residency at Case Western Reserve University - MetroHealth Hospital.
Fellowship-trained in skin cancer surgery and reconstruction: ✅ I have sub-specialized training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology to provide the most skilled surgical care for patients afflicted by skin cancer.
I am Board-certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology✅, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), and a member of the American College of Mohs Surgery.
So…13 years after I graduated high school, I can officially say I have reached expert-level status in this field🤓. I am excited to use my expertise to interact with all of you and inspire you to achieve your healthiest skin✨yet!
