What is Stronger Protective Blend (Roller)?

This powerhouse blend not only boosts the immune system, but also helps the body protect itself! Stronger promotes wellness and vitality when the body needs it the most. It has the oils of Cedarwood, Litsea, Frankincense, and Rose in it. This soothing and powerful combination of oils is prediluted in a 10mL roller and provides resiliency when the body may be prone to attack from outside (or inside) sources. These oils are also amazing at promoting healthy skin and their aroma is very uplifting.

This is a gentle and effective alternative to the On Guard protective blend for animals (and people) that are sensitive to hot oils!

When to use Stronger Protective Blend (Roller) with Animals:
🐾 Apply to wounds to promote healing
🐾 Purr-fect for after surgery to aid in healing and protecting against infection (use around but not ON sutures)
🐾 Apply directly to lumps or bumps of unknown (or known) origin
🐾 Great to use when your animals need extra immune system support (winter, when stressed, boarding, etc.)
🐾 Safe to use daily with all species! No dilution necessary.

How to apply Stronger Protective Blend (Roller) topically to Animals:
🐴 For horses and other large animals, apply along the spine or poll or directly to the area of concern.
🐶 For dogs, apply to your hands and pet along the spine or between the paw pads of the back feet or to the area of concern.
🐱 For cats, apply to your hands and pet along the spine or on ear tips or to the area of concern. No additional dilution necessary.

Since Stronger Protective Blend has fractionated coconut oil in it, it is generally not recommended for use in a diffuser. If you do use in your diffuser be sure to clean it well afterwards.

If Frankincense is the king of oils, then Helichrysum is the queen.

Helichrysum Essential Oil is best known for its rejuvenating properties for the skin. The name “Helichrysum” comes from the Greek “helios” and “chrysos” meaning sun and gold (the color of the flower). The Helichrysum herb has been used for its many health benefits since ancient Greece and Helichrysum is sometimes referred to as the Everlasting or Immortal Flower.

This oil is one of my top 10 MUST HAVE oils in all species!

Helichrysum Essential Oil is so much more than just a healthy skin oil. It is one of my go to oils for first aid (including my Healing Salve Recipe and Skin Rejuvenating Spray), pain & healing post-surgery, nervous system and cardiovascular support (including my Healthy Heart Recipe), and so much more.

As always, be sure to dilute properly for your animals species and weight. Check out page 15 of the Essential Oils & Safety for Animals booklet (essentialoilvet.com/petsafety) for a full dilution guide for topical use.

How to use Helichrysum Essential Oil Topically with Animals:
💧Topical use for horses, cattle, and goats - Apply directly to the area of concern. No additional dilution is necessary but it can be diluted to cover large areas.
💧Topical use for medium and large dogs (over 20 lbs.) - Dilute to 5% (10 drops per 10 mL carrier oil) and apply a small amount to your hands apply to the area of concern or along the spine.
💧Topical use for small dogs (under 20 lbs.) - Dilute to 2% (4 drops per 10 mL carrier oil) and apply a small amount to your hands apply to the area of concern or along the spine.
💧For cats, dilute to 0.5-2% (1-4 drops in 10mL of carrier oil) and apply a small amount to your fingertips and pet along the spine or rub on ear tips. As an alternative you can also diffuse 2-4 drops in your water-based diffuser with the room door open.
💧For birds, use 1-10 drops per 4 oz water in a water misting feather spray or diffuse.

Can you use TerraShield with animals? 🐶

Yes! You can use TerraShield with animals! No more insect repellents with synthetic or toxic chemicals! Essential oils are SO effective for this purpose and I want to make sure you know how to use them safely with your animals.

What is the TerraShield Repellent Blend? 🦟

This unique blend of Citronella, Lemongrass, Thyme, Cedarwood, and Peppermint essential oils is a newer formula that is even more effective at pest prevention. You know the culprits...fleas, ticks, mosquitos, and flies...it is that time of year again!

The blend is already diluted in sesame seed oil so it is perfectly safe to use on people and large animals. Because of the Citronella, Peppermint, and Thyme, I do recommend further dilution for smaller animals like dogs and cats.

How to use TerraShield Repellent Blend with animals:
• For horses, cattle, sheep, and goats, use topically undiluted every 6-8 hours as needed or try this fly spray recipe: https://essentialoilvet.com/6837-2/
• For dogs over 25 lbs., put a few drops on your hands and rub down your dog prior to going outdoors. Or you can create a spray with 50% TerraShield and 50% carrier oil or filtered water (Shake before applying).
• For dogs under 25 lbs., dilute 50% with carrier oil and then use 1-2 drops in your hands to rub down dog prior to going outdoors.
• For cats, diffusion is preferred. For natural pest repellant, you can also try Cedarwood Essential Oil diluted to 1%.
