Meet Johnnie, a U.S. Marine Veteran and resident at Three Rivers Healthcare Center. 💙

After years of service and sacrifice, he found a new home at Three Rivers. What he values most isn't just the care, it's the environment. He appreciates the structure and safety, which remind him of the support he knew while serving. "I don't feel forgotten. I feel seen, supported, appreciated, and surrounded by compassionate professionals and a positive atmosphere. I found comfort and a renewed sense of belonging," he said.

Johnnie speaks warmly about the nurses and nursing assistants who greet him with smiles and treat him with dignity and respect. He shared that the executive director takes time to listen and ensures everyone feels valued. To him, they are more than caregivers, they are a community and even family.

They enjoyed warm coffee chats, balloon Valentines from Perry Church, and handmade Valentines from the local elementary school. We are so grateful for our Veterans, it’s an honor to celebrate them! 🫶
