I love this story. There is no reason why traditional medicine and holistic healing practices cant work together if the circumstances are right.
Reflexology can save a life. I’ve seen it with a client about 15 years ago, I have heard another reflexologist saw that with a client as well ❤️
When this client came to me, her body was close to organ shutdown. The medical team couldn’t pinpoint exactly what was happening, but her body was speaking loud and clear through her feet which helped me focus on those foot reflexes that reflected which parts of the body needed more support.
Using reflexology, I worked with her weekly, stimulating key reflex points, supporting her nervous system, and teaching her how she could work on her own hands between treatments that helped to activate healing.
She also made lifestyle shifts that aligned with her body’s needs.
Later, both she and her medical team credited me, reflexology, and our work together for saving her life.
Reflexology isn’t just foot massage, it is a profound, intelligent system of support that taps into the body’s innate wisdom.
Healing is possible. The body wants to heal. Sometimes, it just needs the right nudge.
