This is the moment that most busy men and woman change.

When they make that commitment to not giving up.

And that doesn’t mean they’re committing to being perfect, far from it in fact.

A commitment to being imperfect when things don’t go to plan.

Which is exactly what we saw when Rory joined the programme.

As a desk bound busy city worker who was struggling to stay consistent with all the responsibilities in his career, with his family and social calendar.

We had to make the plan adaptable so that he could make continued progress because the reality of anyone who’s well a normal person, your life is always going to be throwing curveballs.

We created a baseline plan around nutrition and training that meant he could minimise decision fatigue and just focus on doing the work.

But when thats paired with accountability and coaching, it gave him the support to navigate those changes in real time as well as creating an environment that enabled him to take responsibility of his health and body composition.

Most think this process is rigid.

However, it’s the opposite.

ESPECIALLY when you’re dealing with people who value spending time with their family, want to progress in their career and have a healthy social life.

Which is why Rory managed to completely transform his body, get stronger than ever and gain more energy than in his 20’s.

One thing I’m figuring out right now as a coach is how to communicate what my coaching actually looks like on the inside.

Yes I help people transform their body and I know the word “Transformation” has a general expectation attached to it.

And this is something I’m looking to redefine with coaching that is built on care, compassion and accountability.

Not the type of accountability, where it’s actually not accountability but tyranny dressed up in glitter.

You know the saying “You can dress a s**t in glitter” and all that.

The type of accountability where is facilities adults taking responsibility.

And this particular client, has done a much better job of explaining it than me😂

Sarah, will be totally open to me saying this (because I ran this by her)

But she came into the programme with years under her belt of trying fad diets and getting stuck in that yo-yo diet cycle.

She knew how to track calories and protein, she trains with intensity and pays attention to her sleep.

But could never stick it out, and even the idea of eating without tracking calories was cary to hear.

It was less about the practicalities and mores about her perspective.

Sarah, had the answers.

The programme just enabled her to pluck them out.

What’s fitness without the ability to be present with friends a family.

It’s a facilitator, not the be all and end all.

Improving your health, creating more energy, becoming stronger and improving your body composition doesn’t need to control your life.

You can 100% still get the results you want, without compromising on what it is you value.

Yes, you’ll have to do the work.

But you don’t have to put life on hold.

If you want results without the process becoming the centre of your universe.

You’ve got to make that commitment to not giving up, and don’t get me wrong, that doesn’t mean you need to be perfect.

It means you need to be willing to draw a line when things don’t go to plan, because that’s life and in fact, part of the process of you building autonomy with the habits that support your goals.

And this is exactly why, I’ve been working on something which I’m really excited to launch.

Something that bridges the gap between transformative and compassionate coaching for busy professionals and results that’ll blow your mind.

George came to us struggling to lose fat, unpick old habits and generally stay consistent with health seeking behaviours.

By implementing the principles of The Cultivate Method we managed to create structure and routine to his days that meant despite how busy he was he could stay consistent with his nutrition and training.

We held him accountable and taught him how to track and adapt habits so that he could nip socials smoking and mindless drinking in the bud.

We coached and educated George so that he was never in the dark and always had a crystal clear roadmap so his decisions where coming from a place of certainty.

Most people commit to their goals on a whim, with no real direction, accountability and support.

Which leads them to falling off track, because in reality there is no track.

If there’s no target, you’re always going to miss.

So by utilising accountability, support, direction and coaching George was able to surpass his expectations, and more improtnalty maintain his results to lead a full life.

Without his health or body being the bottleneck.
