My name is Courtney and I am an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, I have been trained in anatomy, physiology, and basic nutrition. I recognize that no two bodies are alike and will work with you to reach your goals at a sustainable pace.

You’re probably thinking right now, well how is Courtney different from any other trainer? I wouldn’t sit here and tell you my certifications and expertise are better than everyone else’s, however I will sit here and share with you the many ups and downs that I have been through that have helped shape the trainer I am today... A long time ago I was a smoker from a very young age and did so for about 9 years. My future husband was an athlete, and would not date me if I continued to be a smoker, because he lost his father to lung cancer and wouldn’t want to go through that with someone he could spend forever with. Through choice, and through fitness I was able to quit smoking. Shortly after I quit smoking, I was diagnosed with PCOS, and told I would never have children. I HAD to find a way to get myself into shape and balance out my hormones not just to prove to myself that I could do it, but to be an inspiration for many women out there. Here we are today and I have THREE healthy toddlers that are true gifts from above. So i’ve quit smoking, i’ve found a way to manage my PCOS, i’m sitting here with twin babies... now what?

I remember the day that I told my family I was going to become an IFBB Pro, and was going to compete in the bikini division. And, well... they ALL laughed at me. I worked incredibly hard not just for myself, not because they laughed at me and didn’t think that it was possible or wanted to prove anyone wrong. I wanted to be an inspiration for other women who’ve ever been told they couldn’t, they wouldn’t or it was just impossible. Wherever you are in your fitness journey, or thinking about getting into fitness... guess what YOU CAN DO THIS!

My advice would be to find not just any personal trainer (nor does it have to be me), but find one that truly cares about you, one that you can develop a great relationship with you and will go that extra mile to make sure that you’re not just training properly, but you’re understand what you’re working on and why.
