It has come to our notice, that many persons (sannyasins and civilians) are conducting events, seminars, courses, trainings and programs claiming to be from the Bihar School of Yoga or Bihar Yoga Bharati and/or claiming to be doing so as seva on our behalf. Sannyasins and residents do not automatically become competent teachers and representatives merely by virtue of their stay at Ganga Darshan Yoga Peeth and association with the tradition.
There are others who claim to be connected to Bihar School of Yoga / Bihar Yoga Bharati but have never visited and/or attended a course, training or have a teaching certificate from Bihar School of Yoga / Bihar Yoga Bharati.
This is to inform all concerned that only a few persons, including sannyasins, are officially authorised and deputed by Bihar School of Yoga to conduct any of the aforementioned yogic activities, as per the set standards, guidelines and discipline of Bihar School of Yoga.
Bihar School of Yoga is a classical yoga-oriented training centre and does not promote teaching of any other subject. Do not be misled by teachers who claim to know and teach other topics, such as hawans, yajnas, mantras, kundalini, higher yogas, scriptures, tantras, upanishads, massage, crystal, sound healing, ayurveda etc, as these are not part of Bihar School of Yoga / Bihar Yoga Bharati teachings and no such training has ever been given.
In the event that people not officially deputed or authorised by Bihar School of Yoga are invited or engaged by you to conduct programs, seminars etc., please be informed that it will be by your own choice and decision; any consequent responsibility and outcome of the same will be yours alone.
