🐏 Do's
✔ Include other types of meat, such as lean beef and chicken, which have a lower fat content.
✔ Remove the visible fat during preparation of the meat cuts for grilling.
✔ Cook food in minimum oil and it's better to use charcoaled meat.
✔ Don't forget to add fiber in your diet through fresh fruits and vegetables. Do include salad in your meals.
✔ Eat in moderation and stay active.
✔ It is desirable to include other types of food, such as legumes, whole grains, low-fat dairy products, vegetables and fruit, at each meal.
✔ Drink water. Stay hydrated.
✔ For dessert, seasonal fruits are preferable to cake, biscuits and sweets containing sugar syrup.

⚠️ Don'ts
❌ Avoid eating meat late at night and it's best to eat it at least 3 hours before going to bed.
❌ Avoid consuming large amount of sheep meat as it has high saturated fat content.
❌ Avoiding consumption of internal organs, which contain large amounts of fat and cholesterol.
❌ Limit/avoid carbonated and sugar-sweetened beverages during and after the meal.
❌ Avoid excess use of oil and spices in your food.

🔸️ up to 1-2 tbsp desi ghee is enough for healthy individuals!

🔸️ Apparently, there are no adverse health effects of desi ghee but as it's high in saturated fat content it should be used in moderation.

Gastroparesis also called as weak stomach, is a disorder in which the stomach muscles become weak and it takes too long to move food into the small intestines.
⏬ Symptoms include:
🔸️Feeling full soon after eating 🔸️Bloating after a meal
🔸️Nausea and vomiting 🔸️Bad breath 🔸️Weight loss
🔸️Loss of appetite 🔸️Abdominal pain 🔸️Blood glucose that is hard to control

⏩ The purpose of a diet for gastroparesis is to reduce the symptoms and maintain adequate nutrition.

⏬ Tips include:
✔ Drink enough fluids to prevent dehydration
✔ Eat small, frequent meals.
✔ Eat nutritious foods first before filling up on snacks or empty calories.
✔ Reduce fat intake
✔ Reduce fiber intake

When you wake up to such kind of msgs... Surely, it's a blessed day for me! ALHAMDULILAH... 💖

She was anemic and was experiencing worst kind of symptoms because of that. When she called me, she said "Hajrah tell me a diet plan that will make me able to stand for longer times and work on my own. I've kids and I couldn't give them proper time because I'm not in my senses most of the times. I'm always lethargic, I experience severe body pains and dizziness and my cycle is badly disturbed. Please help me out!"

Being underweight can impair your immune function, raise your risk of infections, lead to osteoporosis and fractures and cause fertility problems and a study found that being underweight was associated with a 140% greater risk of early death in men, and 100% in women.

If you want to gain weight, it’s very important to do it right. Binging on soda and donuts may help you gain weight, but it can destroy your health at the same time.
It’s very important to eat mostly healthy foods even when you’re trying to gain weight.

👩‍🍳 Eating sufficient protein in the form of meats, fish, eggs, many dairy products, legumes, nuts and others.
👩‍🍳 Don't drink water before meals.
👩‍🍳 Eat more often.
👩‍🍳 Add whole-milk, full-fat yogurt, cream, cheese in your diet.
👩‍🍳 Try weight gainer shakes. These are very high in protein, carbs and calories.
👩‍🍳 Use bigger plates, as smaller plates cause people to automatically eat less.
👩‍🍳 Get quality sleep.
👩‍🍳 Dried fruit: Raisins (کشمش), dates, prunes (خشک آلوبخارا) and others are rich in calories
