This is by no means to encourage the influence of drinking ... this is a guide on how it works for me as a example, then giving insight to how Spiritual connections and connecting to the spirit world can work best with some understanding
I have a few people wanting to learn and develop more on their knowledge at understanding their Spiritual gifts x

Connecting A WAIRUA can keep you busy one way that works for myself to not be so fully connected to the otherside is sinking in a bottle or two of this now and again not 24-7 ... and then i slowly disengage and switch off ....and usally wake up clean and clear within by morning but thats me, each to their own
Because my mahi has been doing alot of A WAIRUA work for a few years now, i can be busy so much that the journeys a blessing... yet needs balance ....so burn out never concurs
So not being fully available gives time to take a back seat and get some fresh air!
Not always is it needing to be Meditation / Music healing ... or standing on papatuanuku to ground you... their are other methods when you gradually learn A WAIRUA that works best at some stages when your working A WAIRUA... however its up to you to respect how this works within you....So learning to take good control is a must!
Practice Practice Practice makes perfect!
When you learn to take good control over your mauri ki te taha wairua you can direct your actions in a positive move where ever you go each and every day!
This will give you the key to balance, and you wont have issues not being able to control disconnecting or being connected into Te Ao Wairua and being distracted because A WAIRUA wants to control you better, this can happen when your learning to be a Mareikura - Wahine Tohunga or Whatukura - Male Tohunga or Matakite - Seer
Learning to control A WAIRUA means you will create the balance YOU see fit, more then your under control by your tipuna and guides
Their requests must have your respect, so their not invading your privacy 24-7 which can happen....
Once your self control gives the thumbs up ... your world will become a magical space and place!
