About us
We are a family team consisting of a General Surgeon and a practice manager. We are recruiting a senior administration officer who must have very strong attention to detail, be hard working and will take ownership within their employed scope while following directives.
Qualifications & experience
Minimum 2 years experience in like role.
Prefer experience in Clinic to Cloud and Medical Objects.
Requires high level verbal communication.
Requires high level written communication for editing letters, sending emails etc.
Must pay extreme attention to detail for payment processing and patient accuracy and must review their work on completion.
Must utilise our core processes and procedures from receipt of referrals to theatre check lists (to name a few) to ensure workflow is completed to SECCs requirements and accept that SECC may have additional processes and quality checks as a best practise environment that is employing business development techniques.
Must be experienced in medical invoicing, reading basic related reports, collecting payments and managing medical claim exceptions and rejections.
Must be able to multitask and have excellent time management skills.
Must be able to take directive from practice manager from remote home office with same effect as in person and work in large unsupervised and be self motivated.
Must take ownership of the role.
Tasks & responsibilities
Will need to support the trainees’ learning and development in a friendly manner (in future should we hire one).
Must be cooperative with a positive friendly manner.
Must be customer service orientated in a patient centred environment that is warm and friendly down to making the patient a drink.
Must support the Doctor as needed.
All day to day administration tasks required to support the practice and as requested by the practice manager and Dr.
Adherence to our core processes and procedures.
If time permits support in all administrative areas across business including purchasing supplies, supporting marketing and business development projects.
Some cleaning is involved as well as maintaining the day to day tidiness within office generally.
Accountability and ownership are essential qualities, as is reliability.
This is an overview but is not exclusive list as all tasks required to support the clinic in its operations may be requested of you.
Office is mostly a paperless model. If you are not confident with computer software and working within this environment please do not apply as we are a cloud based office.
Must have a good attitude, fair, honest, personable and hard working.
