In April this year, during IHH annual medical conference, I was asked this question on shingle vaccine in the prevention of dementia. In front of about 500 specialist and medical doctors, I said I didn’t know and was quite skeptical. Even now, after the interview, I still feel none the wiser.
But I can be quite sure alcohol does have a certain level of contribution in increasing the risk of dementia, and hope the general public can adopt a healthier lifestyle for the modifiable risk factors of dementia. ☺️♥️

A 1-day trip to Taipei to be the Singapore representative of the asia headache team to create a Regional Headache Guideline. And our Singapore headache guideline is used as a reference, next to the American and European guideline 🥹

On a separate note, I arrived back at Singapore from China this morning at 6am. Flew off again to Taipei at 11am, landed and went straight to the hotel gym. With this as an example, I’m telling my patient it’s do-able, no more excuses not to exercise. 😬

After giving a talk at IHH CME yesterday, I felt empowered for any challenge that my tiny neurology practise will face. But then I met Prof Peter Goadsby again today, for the Nurtec launch, and I am reduced to a fangirl all over again today. 😅
