We’re thrilled to share that the Rising Harte Wellness Center (RHWC) now has a permanent, public-facing sign thanks to the generous support of the Improvement Association. Installed along the fence at Fred Finch’s Oakland campus, this sign helps ensure that more community members know that compassionate, judgment-free care is available—right here in the Dimond District.

At Fred Finch, we are deeply alarmed by the proposed federal budget cuts that threaten Medicaid and food assistance programs. These services are the backbone of support for many of the children, youth, and families we serve across California.

Stripping $715 billion from Medicaid and $300 billion from SNAP while granting $1.1 trillion in tax breaks to the wealthy is not just unjust—it directly undermines our mission to provide equitable behavioral health and social services.
We stand with our partners at the California Alliance of Child & Family Services in urging immediate action.

Adelante was created to help solve the urgent workforce shortage in mental and behavioral health by training the next generation of professionals—with a special focus on Spanish-speaking communities.
