Ok, so here’s a little bit about Lou 😊 She’s been married to her wonderful husband Keith for 10yrs, they have 4 lovely children 3 boys and 1 girl, oh and 3 crazy Cockapoo’s 🐶 She started her journey within the NHS back in 2002 and has worked her way through the roles of paramedic to advanced clinical practitioner. She spent a total of 7 yrs at various universities, the main one being the University of Northampton where she completed her master of science award in advanced practice. She became one of the first independent prescribers (from a paramedic background) graduating from the university of Nottingham in 2019 The majority of her working career has been dealing with acutely unwell patients, from paramedic, to Children’s Emergency department to primary care working as part of the medical team within a local GP practice. Her aesthetic journey started a few years ago now after joining children’s ED. Losing her adult patients and the ability to make them better left her feeling empty, so she thought to herself 🤔 what other career makes people feel better and that’s how it started. She’s fully qualified in an array of aesthetic treatments including advanced and expert dermal filler, advanced Botox, skin needling, facials, fat dissolving injections, skin tag/mole/milia removal, Hayfever injections, vitamin injections, skin boosters and her latest addition scheduled for early October is Sclerotherapy (removal of thread veins) She’s also fully trained in complication management and is fully insured with a very reputable company. So I think that’s all there is to know about Lou, can’t wait for you to meet her!

Talk about 50 shades of dark circles This is me every morning at the moment Here’s how I get rid of them First with my ring finger, I apply AlumierMD Alumineye, this is great for dark circles and fine lines around the eye, the light reflecting pigment really brings them back to life. Then I apply my SPF, Alumiers Moisture Matte is perfect as it’s tinted and has great coverage, my shade is sand. Don’t worry it’s supposed to come out white, the pigment is released as you rub it in. Some important things to know about microneedling It’s important what is needled in to the skin is specifically designed for microneedling purposes & should always be sterile. The device itself is a CE marked or medical device, with sterile individually pack needle cartridges. I’ve seen pictures of cheap pens where when the needle cartridges were put under a microscope the actual needles were bent, imagine the damage that would do as they go in & out of the skin. You should avoid putting any active products on your skin for at least 3-5 days following microneedling.
