Dear Central Arizona Dental Hygienists’ Association Member,

We hope this letter finds you and your loved ones well. Your continued membership and support for our organization and profession is very much appreciated by the CADHA Board!

It was our intention to restart the very popular monthly CE Socials this Fall, however due to continued Covid concerns and restrictions, that is not currently feasible. The previous restaurant venue is no longer able to accommodate large groups and our research has yet to identify a new location that meets our needs. We miss gathering in person and will continue to investigate options.
To remain ADHA compliant, CADHA elections must be held, and bylaws updated. Any volunteers willing to participate on either the Bylaws Committee or the Nominations Committee would be gratefully accepted. Please comment on the Central Arizona Dental Hygienists’ Association page if you are interested. You may also nominate yourself if you wish to be on the slate for election to the Board.

We understand there has been some confusion about the new license renewal dates and when it goes into effect. Here is some information that you may find helpful:

“SB 1013: dental board; licenses;
certificates; renewals; Sen. Barto

Licenses issued by the State Board of Dental Examiners expire 30 days after the licensee's birthday every third year, instead of on June 30 of every third year. Effective January 1, 2022. AS SIGNED BY GOVERNOR."
