It's a GORGEOUS day in the neighborhood and you must get outside if you're able. Move away from your computer, take the kids out (don't forget sunscreen!), grab a coffee and walk around the block, close your eyes and let the sun warm your face.

You need the serotonin and vitamin D for your mental health. Doctor's orders ☀️

Copper isn't just a trendy ingredient - it actually has proven benefits for joint health and recovery. Our copper-infused knee and ankle braces, elbow supports, and gloves provide the perfect combination of compression and copper for faster healing and improved performance.

Maybe with our knee braces, you can even "drop it like it's hot" like you used to. Who's going to volunteer as tribute?

Sometimes we don’t want to make the right decision.

Or the opposite - we want to, but we make excuses, can’t find the motivation, can’t make the time. Maybe the benefit doesn’t outweigh the cost. For example, we know that exercising is good for the body, and will produce endorphins that make us feel good. BUT the couch is so comfy, and those endorphins aren’t THAT great, are they?? It can be so easy to talk ourselves out of doing the thing.

But here’s the kicker…usually the hard things are the right thing.

So, instead of turning our lives upside down and setting goals that are unattainable, let’s lower the bar. Let’s give our brain an easy hit of dopamine. Let’s do the hard thing, but first embrace and implement the power of the micro-yes (thanks ).

Going for a run is something we can easily (and often?) procrastinate.

But what about putting our sneakers by the door? The “yes” comes easily here.

Tasks like this micro-yes allow ourselves to follow through with an intention without sending our nervous system into overload, which leads to procrastination. In a Psychology Today article, Britt says, “Sometimes even the thought of “tomorrow” can overwhelm an already overwhelmed system”. A micro-yes is safe and ultra attainable, and proves to ourselves that we can follow through.

In light of a "right" decision that you want to make, what micro-yes can you accomplish today?

We put so much pressure on ourselves to do the right thing, say the right thing, and have the right answers. But the reality is that NO ONE has all the right answers.

Well, maybe Chat GPT.

But not one human has all the right answers.

Unfortunately this reality can be hard for our brains to access. Especially when we are overwhelmed with life, facing roadblocks, and not finding the answers we need for the job, the child or the partner.

Take a breather, friend.

Remind yourself that you are doing the best you can, and that's enough.

Some days self care looks like taking time to be by yourself and reading a book.
Other days, it’s reaching out to a friend to arrange a fun night out.
Sometimes we need nature, sometimes we need nurture.
Sometimes we need something more tangible; a bath or a massage.

We may need creativity.
Movement.
Fun.
Music.
Laughter
Or tears.

And sometimes, we just need an indulgent, delectable treat. Everything in moderation.

When you look at food as fuel, it changes your perspective. It helps to see food as the source of energy that enables us to play pickup basketball, take the dog for a walk, dance in the kitchen, go for a bike ride, or chase after kids.

On the flip side, it also helps to realize that certain foods and drinks that we put in our bodies can have the opposite effect. When was the last time you ate a double Whopper and DIDN’T want to take a nap after?

The answer is never.

So next meal or snack time, let’s try something different with this in mind. Try some new flavors and textures, like this citrusy, passionfruit oatmeal with coconut milk . Let’s eat a small salad before diving into that cheesy quesadilla, or grab an apple with almond butter instead of 5 Oreos.

But seriously…don’t pass on the Oreos every time, because cookies = happiness.

STOP. Time for a stretch sesh (no mat required).

Bend and extend those legs. Rotate those ankles. Stretch those arms. Roll those shoulders. Forward. Backward. Reach up and interlock those fingers. Lean left. Come back to center. Lean right. Repeat.

It doesn’t matter how you move your body, what matters is that you move. Move in a way that feels good but is also a challenge.

Soccer or yoga.
Biking or tennis.
Pilates or running.
Lifting or barre.

Or it could be parking at the back of the grocery store parking lot so you get more steps in. It could be as simple as taking the stairs instead of the elevator. Or getting off the subway a stop early, and walking the last 10 blocks.

What’s your favorite way to move your body?

Do you know that when stressed, our breathing becomes shallower? This deprives us of oxygen, and hinders our ability to calm down and making us more tense and anxious?

But we don’t have to be stressed to feel the benefits that come from breathing deeply. Try it now. Set a timer for 5 minutes, and fill your lungs slowly, intentionally. Then exhale that same way.

Check back in when your timer goes off and let us know how you feel.

Who here knows the struggle of starting (or restarting) a new workout routine? Maybe it’s exciting at first, but once the novelty wears off it can be tough to find the motivation to get moving, and stay moving. This is especially true if we repeatedly fall off the wagon or have never worked out before. Or if we’ve tried but haven’t seen or felt the results we wanted.

But, let's be real, we all have to start somewhere.

Trying something new can be scary, but remember that you're not alone in this journey. At TRAKK, we believe in supporting your body, heart and mind and will stop at nothing to make that happen.

We’re here with podcast and playlist recs, “How-to” videos for our products, mindfulness and breathing exercises, hydration reminders, therapy tips, recipes, and more. We're here for YOU, because we want to see every individual freely explore their potential, regardless of what limitations, standards, or expectations have held them back.

So many good things are coming. Stay tuned.

What defines how you live?

Joy?
Intentionality?
Abundance?

Or maybe it’s stress?
Overwhelm?
Fatigue?

Have you perked up along with the spring flowers, thankful for new seasons and vitamin D? Or maybe you're still struggling to make ends meet, to get over the breakup, or to simply to get out of bed?

Either way, know that your human experience is valid and valued. Whether it's joy or sadness, contentment or depression, those emotions are allowed to take up space and be acknowledged so that they can pass through you.

But let's recognize that we are not our emotions. You may FEEL sad, but YOU aren't sad. Let's notice the distinction. Emotions are merely information to be explored; they are proof of life. Life that matters.

Do what you love, without limitations.
Explore your potential, regardless of what “they” said.
Take the risks, and don’t wait for fear to subside.

DO. (SH)IT. SCARED. and see what comes your way because of it.
