Well, proud Pharmacy moments for us here at Doon Mills Pharmacy. I am sure you all know that we have an incredible team, many of whom are students. I am so lucky to watch them grown, learn and thrive!
This week we are wishing 3 of our amazing team members the best of luck as they head off to University this weekend!
First is Jia Ying! She joined us last year, after completing her degree at U of T, with an interest in learning more about pharmacy. Well, she most certainly took to our pharmacy amazingly well! We are so proud to say she is off to U of T pharmacy school now! Future pharmacist! Way to go Jia, we can’t wait to see what your future holds! I must say, U of T can bring some pretty awesome pharmacists to the community😝
Next is Ally, who started with us 2 years ago as a part time student. She quickly learned her role and this past year has learned the ropes in the dispensary! She now heads off to University of Guelph, for her degree in Biochemistry.
She also has an interest in pharmacy, so perhaps we will have another future pharmacist coming from our little family.
Lastly is Jillian, who left a little bit earlier in the summer to take on a full time job to gain experience for teaching! We were lucky to have this talented young lady with us for 3 years. She was an excellent pharmacy assistant and leader, and again started as a part time high school student! We wish her the very best as she heads to Western, with her future endeavours in teaching.
Ladies, proud is an understatement. Thank you so much for everything you did for our pharmacy. We will miss you, but excited for your future! You always have a place at Doon!
