Trainings, intensives, and consulting available. ✨ Mariya Javed-Payne is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Certified Brainspotting Trainer and Consultant, and a Minnesota Board Approved Supervisor. She is currently the owner of Awaken Consulting Services, a private practice supporting trauma recovery by offering somatic therapy intensives, consultation, psychedelic-assisted therapy, Brainspotting and other educational trainings, somatic anti-racism processing, and shamanic and energy healing. She has served her community in a variety of leadership positions such as the co-owner and Chief Clinical Officer at the Institute for Integrative Therapies, a psychedelic assisted therapy clinic, as well as the Director of Behavioral Health at a federally qualified health center, and in other supervisory/clinical roles at several addiction treatment centers. She offers therapy intensives for complex PTSD and addictions, as well as consulting services on the topics of race, addictions, and trauma at Awaken Consulting Services. Her 13 years of experience have focused on clients complex and developmental trauma, addictions, medication assisted treatment therapies, racial trauma, oppression, spirituality, and chronic pain.

Rooted in a decolonized ethos, the program emphasizes attunement, uncertainty, social justice, anti-oppression, and community-centered healing.

Through monthly gatherings, independent study, and experiential learning, you’ll strengthen leadership and teaching skills, embody Brainspotting principles, and prepare to serve as a consultant, training assistant, and space-holder within the Brainspotting community.
