This is where your health starts!
Gut health is so important to not only feel less bloated and feel good in your clothes but also for your overall wellbeing!
Numerous studies in the past two decades have demonstrated links between gut health and the immune system, mood, mental health, autoimmune diseases, endocrine disorders, skin conditions, and cancer.
The term âgut microbiomeâ refers specifically to the microorganisms living in your intestines. A person has about 300 to 500 different species of bacteria in their digestive tract. While some microorganisms are harmful to our health, many are incredibly beneficial and even necessary to a healthy body.
If you've been feeling overwhelmed this season (or the past two years...), your gut has probably taken on that stress too. Try to incorporate these things to help you find balance:
⢠Take a probiotic
⢠Increase your dietary fiber (as naturally as possible!)
⢠Lay off the booze
⢠Drink more water
⢠Eat fermented foods (kimchi, sauerkraut, yogurt,)
⢠Eat collagen boosting foods (bone broth is my favorite!)
