For a while, I chalked everything up to “just getting older.” The low energy, the stubborn weight, the random mood swings… I figured it was just life in my 40s and 50s. But I’ve learned that a lot of it had less to do with age and more to do with my hormones—and the things I was unknowingly doing that were messing them up.
Most people don’t realize that so many everyday products—household cleaners, body wash, lotion, even toothpaste—can contain chemicals that mess with your hormones. They’re called endocrine disruptors, and they can throw everything out of balance.
Once I started swapping those things out for safer, non-toxic options and focusing on supporting my body instead of overwhelming it, I noticed a big difference. Less bloating, better sleep, more energy… and I’ve lost 18 pounds. I genuinely believe that getting my hormones back in balance has been a game changer.
