RefluxStop UK RefluxStop™️ is a medical device that treats the cause of acid reflux without encircling the food passageway. CE-marked in Europe; not currently FDA-approved.

RefluxStop™ successfully treats acid reflux without affecting the food passageway, and unlike drug therapy, the device also eliminates the regurgitation of stomach fluid. Standard-of-care interventions encircle the food passageway, which may lead to complications, such as difficulty swallowing or the inability to belch or vomit. The device is a non-active implant placed on the upper part of the st

omach through laparoscopic surgery. CE mark approval in Europe was granted on August 8, 2018, on the strength of a multi-center clinical investigation in which the safety and effectiveness of the device in patients were demonstrated. The device is not currently FDA-approved in the United States; countries where RefluxStop procedures are currently available include:
