I wanted to share something I’ve created for parents navigating PANS/PANDAS and inflammatory behaviours.

Over the years, I’ve worked with many families who feel overwhelmed during flare-ups, not knowing what to reach for or how to help in the moment. I will always advocate for having a homeopath to deal with the underlying chronic situation, but sometimes you just need something in the moment to try.

I’ve put together a short, practical presentation on some homeopathic remedies to consider for acute flare-ups, where I talk through the key remedies (like belladonna, stramonium and hyoscyamus plus others you may not be so familiar with) I recommend keeping at home, and how to recognise which one to use based on your child’s symptoms.

I’ve also included a quick-reference PDF to help you choose the right remedy.

My Story

Homeopath specialising in children with autism.

It’s been 12 years now since qualifying in 2007 as a homeopath. At the beginning of my clinical practice i saw many clients with a huge range of symptoms from menopause to anxiety, to allergies and skin conditions, to digestive problems to ‘incurable’ diseases. But it was several years ago now when i encountered my first enquiry regarding a child with behavioural issues and developmental delays and my learning expanded at a phenomenal rate. It had to! The old way of prescribing single remedies became irrelevant in these cases and poly pharmacy began to make a HUGE difference. But there were still blocks to reaching these children who were coming to my clinic.

I then read a book by Tinus Smits and it was a game changer for both me and my patients. Autism-Beyond Despair gave the gateway for an idea regarding detoxification using homeopathy. Although homeopaths have already been using Tautopathy and Isopathy (remedies mostly made from toxic substances or allopathic drugs to treat ailments from that substance), this provided a clearer insight into the range of possibilities in healing.

Since then i have studied and gained qualification in what is known as cease therapy, but have also expanded my knowledge by training with a further pioneer in this subject of detoxification, Ton Jansen, author of Fighting Fire with Fire.
