Not having a period during training season has a history of being seen as a “badge of honor” in several sports. It’s actually a clear message that your fuel is not matched up with your activity. Your body is suffering and the lack of a period is an indication your body is shutting down certain processes to keep vital functions going. Think how much better you would be performing if your were properly fueled!!!
There could be other reasons why you have lost your period so please see your health practitioner and a sports dietitian for further care!

The summer is “off season” for collegiate and high school athletes. This is the best time to prepare for the upcoming season both physically and mentally. It is also the optimal time to make any needed changes to your performance diet, which may include trying new foods for pre-/during competitions and also for making any weight adjustments If you need to trim down, start by cutting out the foods that have little nutritional value.
