Ezri struggled as a youth with mental health challenges, repeated hospitalizations, and even a residential placement. She felt “broken.” Then she became involved as a volunteer with the Youth Advisory Board at Voice and Vision. Being around other youth who were “kindred spirits” with similar experiences helped her see that the difficulties she experienced could be worth something – that she was worth something.

Now Enrolling: Spring 2025 II Intro to Horsemanship for Veterans and First Responders.

Members of our Veteran and First Responder Community are invited to register for our April 23/24-May 28/29 Intro to Horsemanship course.

Led by Thorncroft instructor Kim Longo, CTRI, MMES, this class explores foundational principles of equine skills including horse handling and grooming, equine behavior and communication, and natural horsemanship.
