Hey Pre-Meds,

Are any of you interested in getting more shadowing and clinical experience while traveling abroad this summer? Medlife offers undergraduate students an opportunity to travel abroad while serving the underprivileged communities around the world. "Medlife" stands for: Medicine, Education and Development for Low Income Families Everywhere. Please share this will all Pre-Med, Pre-Dental, Pre-PA and nursing students. There is a clinical experience for everyone in the medical field as well as internships! I included the link to their website below for more information. Hello All,

This is a friendly announcement that the E-Board position for Pre-Med Club Volunteer Coordinator is available. I have included the application on petesync(link below). All specific instructions are explained within the application.

Being Coordinator is a great way to gain leadership experience as an undergraduate and be part of an outstanding organization. We prefer a younger Pre-Med Pal (sophomore or junior) to take over this position because of the time needed to train our volunteers since we hold them to such a high standard. Also, this makes it an easier transition as Pre-Med Pals are familiar with Dr. John, our program and how it is ran. If you are not a Pre-Med Pal but are interested in becoming Volunteer Coordinator you are still welcome to apply!

Primary responsibilities for Volunteer Coordinator:
-Coordinate volunteer programs at John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, St. Anthony’s Hospital and general volunteering opportunities for USFSP students in the St. Petersburg area.
-Manage monthly Pre-Med Pal schedule at John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital.
-Update volunteer database management system for all University of South Florida students.
-Provide guidance and answer questions from new/old Pre-Med Pal volunteers and general University of South Florida St. Petersburg students looking for volunteering opportunities.
-Organize, help train and recruit hospital volunteers and replacement Volunteer Coordinator.

Please submit the completed application to Miranda Nunez (mirandanunez@mail.usf.edu). This application window will close on April 24th, 2017 at 11:59 PM. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Spring Break!

Cheers,
Miranda Nunez
