The TRAINING TEST in Malta, between 26th and 31st January 2026, gave the possibility to 5 participants with intellectual disabilities to be part of a mobility project to test PR.I.M.E. outputs and tools.
We showed already some photos about this mobility.

👱‍♀️MARIA's experience in Malta🇲🇹

Maria came from Greece🇬🇷 with Jelena and Ypatios from ΕΣΤΙΑ / ESTIA
This was a very special experience for Maria, where she felt proud and confident!
She did her mini internship in the Teatru Manoel 🎭and she loved being in the reception registering the tickets and in the wardrobe of the theatre.👗
Maria liked to socialise with the new friends, including 'George, the monkey'.🙊
Visiting storical places was special for her.🕍and she worked in one...!
She returned home happy,😍 full of memories and with a suitcase full of souvenirs... but 'George' stayed at home, in Malta.

🤗This was an amazing experience for our 5 participants and their accompanying persons, but it was also an opportunity for the project managers to reunite and finalise the outputs with the participants' feedback.

👩‍🦰GOSIA's experience in Malta🇲🇹

Gosia came from Poland 🇵🇱with Monika and Ola from PSONI Gdańsk .
She did an amazing mini internship in the National Library of Malta and she loved cutting, sweing and glueing paper, restauring old books.📜📚📖
Gosia tested a lot of PRIME tools, from the easy-to-read documents, to the digital tool about learning process, and she liked to meet in person everyone that she met in the preparatory meeting online.🧑‍💻
She liked to explore the city and, since the boat didn't make her confortable, she liked to go by car with Tanya, a new friend from Malta.🚗
Gosia really liked Sofia, her new friend from Italy, that in the end she discovered was her 'secret friend'... 🫂that's why all the gifts and cuddles...!🥰
She brought home a lot of souvenirs, including some notebooks and pads she did herself in the library!📜
Supported by Monika and Ola, she felt really good and was always with a smile on her face!👥😁

🧑‍🦰MARIO's experience in Malta🇲🇹

Mario came from France🇫🇷 with Malika and Emily from Cap Ulysse .
He did his mini internship in the St John's Co-Cathedral , a very beautiful place with Caravaggio's paintings.⛪️
He had the chance to develop his English by welcoming visitors and advise them to take photos...without flash!📸
He enjoyed spending time with the group and visiting Malta.
Before this experience, he was very scared to take the plane, especially taking off. On the return to home he was already more confident and comfortable. 🛫The PRIME tool about the airport scenario helped.

👩SOFIA's experience in Malta🇲🇹

From Italy🇮🇹, Sofia left with the Kara Bobowski team to another adventure🦸‍♀️.
It was not Sofia's first time, so she was the one leading the team through the airport, to the restaurants and workplace, using her digital skills, also useful to understand menus and communicating with some new friends.📱
In the MUŻA , Malta’s National Community Art Museum,🏦 Sofia did a mini internship with her accompanying person Rebeca, together with the new lithuanian friend Laura.
Sofia helped in the museum shop and also choosed her favourite artworks, writing about them for a special homework for the University.🖼️
She did a lot of new friends and what she liked the most was that and the energy between the group. 🌈🥰🙂‍↕️
Sofia and the other participants supported the staff of PRIME by testing the tools created by the project.🕵️‍♀️

👩LAURA's experience in MALTA🇲🇹

Laura came from 🇱🇹Lithuania with her team from Panevėžio socialinių pokyčių centras : Greta and Egle. 👥
She started preparing the adventure by testing a PRIME tool that explain how to do the airport procedures.💻✈️
📆The travel day was also her birthday!🎂 A very important date to remember!🥳
Once in Malta🇲🇹, she did a mini internship in the MUŻA, the Malta’s National Community Art Museum🏛️, where she saw the dungeons and choosed her favourite artworks.🖼️
She shared this experience with her new italian friend, Sofia, with whom she communicated through digital tools: one of the most important things for her during this experience.🥰
Laura said to us that she was very happy to do this experience!❤️
Also for her accompanying person,👥 Greta, this was an important experience. It was the first time she participated in a project by supporting a participant abroad and, in the end, she would like to do more!💪

Last week, PRIME partners did a Training Test in Malta 🇲🇹with participants with intellectual disabilities to test the tools created by the project.
Five participants, with their accompanying persons and the project managers, were hosted by Vision for the Med Association during 4 days.
It was a very nice week during which project managers reunite to check the last details to finalise all the outputs, while participants developed their competences supported by their accompanying persons.
Sofia🇮🇹, Laura🇱🇹, Gosia🇵🇱, Maria🇬🇷 and Mario🇫🇷 did a mini-internship in some special places in Malta that accepted to host them, even if for such a short time.
