The Moon Women Dreaming Retreat is coming up soon Sept. 13-15 at the Osage Forest of Peace near Tulsa Oklahoma. As the temps drop a bit, on the edge of the Autumn Equinox, and the Super Full Moon Eclipse.

We will gather together and listen to the wind in the trees, and hear the songs held in the leaves. We will draw down the moon and dream into the season when the veil thins. Still a couple of spots to join us if you feel the call in the song of leaves.

Dark Moon meditation online 6 p.m. CST Monday September 2nd letting go before the new. Retrograde Pluto re-enters Capricorn at the 29th degree. The final review before the end of this cycle where it has been since 2008. What was started in 2008 is winding up by November 20th when Pluto enters Aquarius for a new cycle. This meditation is about closing the door on patterns that we have finished, and don’t want to bring into the new 20 year cycle.

The ancient practice of augury was being able to read the signs by the flight and sounds of birds. In this photo I took last Fall, these birds are flying between the worlds, that liminal space where conscious dreams arise.

This artist rendering of Cybele is an Anatolian Mountain Goddess, also associated as the Greek Goddess Rhea. Due to my activism on behalf of women, and dream adventures with the Goddess, I was given this art from a Goddess herself, Jo Wharton, who started Goddess circles in North Texas in the 80’s. I found some research recently about my surname Reed, which states that the name Reed is rooted in the Goddess Rhea. I love how the stories flow when collaborating with the ancestors. Rhea is the Goddess of Ease and Flow. May we all be blessed. I have a a Women’s Retreat planned for September 13-15 Fri.- Sun. at the Osage Forest of Peace in Sandhill Springs OK. Tiamat is a primordial goddess rooted in Mesopotamia. The octopus has been intertwined with the concept of the Great Mother since time immemorial. This fascinating creature has been a powerful symbol of female power across cultures and throughout history.

In ancient Babylonian myths, the goddess Tiamat was closely associated with the octopus, embodying the raw force of feminine energy. She waged war against the deities and was eventually defeated by the storm god Marduk, whose victory marked a turning point in the shift from matriarchal to patriarchal societies. From Tiamat's body emerged the heavens and the earth, forever linking the octopus with the creative power of the divine feminine.”

Octopus has regenerative powers to regrow tentacles and limbs. The eight limbs each contain individual brains, able to operate independently from the others. They are exceptional shapeshifters and ancient creatures 290 millions years in the making.

“Tiamat was the "shining" personification of the sea who roared and smote in the chaos of original creation. She and Abzu filled the cosmic abyss with the primeval waters. She is "Ummu-Hubur who formed all things".
