Mentoche Herbal Production Center The name Mentoche (Twins) was given to two identical twins who has the knowledge of the orthodox doctrine in North Shoa Zone, Menz Gera Woreda.

Side by side to their orthodox knowledge they have kept their name by producing traditional medicine and supplying medical service to the society. In this regard, by the proclamation No. in 1984 E.C article 5, letter B, Medical Policy of 1984 E.C, according the documentation No. 111 permitted, they have been producing herbal medicine, and have been giving service. Accordingly, in 1992 E.C, they got license from the National Traditional Service In 1993 E.C it was registered by Science & Technology Commission and received utility model certificate. Currently, it has received a utility model certificate in 2008 E.C. To expand the medical service and to meet the demand of the needy population, it has received license from the Addis Ababa City Administration Investment Agency in order to import machineries to produce herbal medicine.
