Can't believe it was already a year ago yesterday that I lost a friend to heaven for the first time, in Garth Marconno Mitchell. My music producer, my dear friend, my brother. He impacted so many of our lives in so many different ways. We shared a passion with music, that catapulted our relationship into a very close friendship that I will forever treasure in my heart. I know I speak on behalf of MANY out there...We really miss U, G.

Doc J, along w/hip hop artists Nyche, Gettz, Big Dippa, Renolds Rapp, & Sam Sam will be performing this evening at Camp Adventure, a summer camp for children with cancer or who have survived cancer. It's real good to be back here. This cause means a lot to me, and my crew, & so today is all about those special kids!

Happy Born Day up in heaven to a real special soul! We all miss U, G, but know you're prob sitting around up there today watching a replay of the Warriors-Spurs game with Len Bias & Hank Gathers, & then sitting at a mixing board with Biggie, Scott La Rock, Big L, & Michael Jackson, doin ya thing. On behalf of all your family & friends down here...we're all thinking of U, today, & miss U so much l, my brother.
