We often get asked where we are based. The CCN team are mostly based in the heart of the community offering us numerous advantages that enable us to be integrated and lead to a more inclusive approach.
We are based both in the North and South of Solihull, utilising the amazing family hubs who we work very closely with (and which we also think are amazing!)This connectivity not only enhances our visibility but also demonstrates our commitment to the community.

Supporting children’s mental health is crucial for their development and well-being. With Ordinary Magic, they can make a significant impact through various interventions:

- nurture groups both in school and out in the community
- Class and whole school workshops
- Parenting groups, classes and workshops
- 1:1 support inside and outside of school
- Play therapy
- Talking therapy
- Family support
- Community groups such as anxiety or autism social groups

The Connected Care Netwoek work in partnership with the amazing Meriden Adventure Playground Chelmsley Wood who offer amazing play opportunities for all children! Together, the MAPA team are on a mission to create fun, engaging, and safe play opportunities that help kids thrive—physically, socially, and emotionally.

Play is more than fun—it’s essential for growth! Through this partnership, they aim to:

On Friday The Connected Care Network was up for a Social Economy Award and was finalist for Excellence in Health Impact.

Some of the Core Team went to represent the CCN on the evening and whilst we didn’t win, it was wonderful recognition for all the amazing work that Connected Care Network does and the work from Ordinary Magic Urban Heard Inclusive Sports Academy CIC, NHS England Meriden Adventure Playground Chelmsley Wood and all the other amazing organisation’s involved that goes into supporting the children!
